Just the thought of it makes our mouths water! The Bretons are gourmets, and here we don't skimp, preparing a well-stocked table for a convivial moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A short list of Breton breakfast essentials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the <strong>cr\u00eapes<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>palet breton<\/strong>, A crunchy, crumbly little cake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>Breton shortbread<\/strong>, A crunchy shortbread with a salty buttery taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>brioche or\u00ab&nbsp;<strong>Pastez<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00bb<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>far breton<\/strong>, the famous prune pastry flan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>Kouign-Amann<\/strong>, a kind of puff pastry with butter and caramelised sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>salted butter caramel<\/strong>, A must for pancakes!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>semi-salted butter<\/strong> for \u00abun tamm bara'mann\u00bb a slice of buttered bread<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find some of these delicacies at the\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirabel-clostranquille.com\/en\/camping-services\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"48\">grocery shop on the campsite,<\/a> and for the full list, head to the bakery at <strong>Notre-Dame-du-Guildo<\/strong> or Matignon and Saint-Cast.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-image-fill front-page-section grey animate right\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Breton legends<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mirabel-mielles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/barre-bleue.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5969\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After a hearty breakfast, there's nothing like a good walk to burn off some calories in search of the \u00ab&nbsp;<strong>Sounding Stones&nbsp;<\/strong>\u00bb. Departing from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirabel-clostranquille.com\/en\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"9\"> campsite<\/a>, From the beach at Les 4 Vaulx, take the customs path (GR34) towards the port of Le Guildo. You're in for a treat! You can already enjoy the magnificent panorama of <strong>Arguenon Bay<\/strong> and the Ebihens archipelago opposite the beach. Then set off for a 3km walk along the cliffs on a wooded path. If the sun comes out, you'll be lucky enough to see the emerald blue that gives our coast its name. You've certainly earned a break at the Pierres Sonnantes site!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stones are scattered on the beach at the <strong>lieu-dit Goule d'Enfer<\/strong><strong>, their name<\/strong> comes from the fact that they ring when struck with another stone. This metallic sound like a <strong>small bell<\/strong> amazes children and parents alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like many Breton stones, <strong>the sounding stones are <\/strong><strong>associated with a legend<\/strong>. Here, they refer to Gargantua, who spent part of his life in Brittany and left his mark. Legend has it that these stones are the result of indigestion suffered by Gargantua, who swallowed them and then vomited again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking along the GR34 is the best way to discover or rediscover the Breton coastline and some of its secrets. Set up the wooden plank on the ground, hand out <strong>4 cast-iron pucks per player<\/strong> and off you go for a few hours of festive competition with family and friends. The game is simple <strong>throw the pucks as close as possible to the master, known as \u00abthe kid\u00bb. <\/strong>A puck that is on the ground or has touched the ground before arriving on the board is void and must be removed. If a player pushes the master off the board, the game is cancelled. A real game of skill and teamwork that will delight young and old alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"texte-rond has-orange-color has-text-color has-large-font-size\">The rules of the game :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Put the small one on the board and place the teams 5 metres from the board. Each team throws a puck and the team with the puck closest to the master starts the game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The first team takes the small ball and has 3 tries to throw it and place it on the board. If they fail to do so, the other teams try their luck. The team that succeeds in placing the master on the board then throws 1 puck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A team throws pucks until they win the point back.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When all the pucks have been played, the winning player (or team) is the one whose puck is closest to the master. Each puck between the master and the opposing team's first puck earns 1 point.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A game is won by 12 points, the belle by 15 points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For purists, here are the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palet-bzh.fr\/regles-du-jeu.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> rule<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/palet-bzh.fr\/regles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">s<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.palet-bzh.fr\/regles-du-jeu.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> of the complete game<\/a> on a bzh site of course<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-image-fill front-page-section grey animate right\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Introduction to Breton dance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.campinglarenaudiere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/barre-bleue.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2382\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We end the day with music and the traditional <strong>Fest-noz<\/strong>&nbsp;! If you're looking for an authentic experience, this is the one for you. Fest-noz festivals are held all year round, all over Brittany. This festival, which resembles a <strong>traditional dance ball<\/strong> was invented in the 1950s in central Brittany. Around a thousand fest-noz take place every year, attracting hundreds or even thousands of people! It's the convivial festival that <strong>brings together all generations<\/strong> with traditional Breton dances, singers, musicians and dancers.
