If the perfect holiday means the beach, then Saint Cast le Guildo is the perfect destination! There is a total of 7 delightful beaches of fine sand. Les 4 vaulx is the nearest (650 m away), so you can bask in the warmth of the Breton sun while the kids splash around in the high waves!
Do you prefer walking? On foot or by bike, the 20 km of coastal paths and part of the GR34 hiking trail passing through the resort will give you some of the best views in the area. For lovers of wide open spaces, set off on an adventure on the 6 cycle loops in the hinterland of the Emerald Coast.




The city centre: charming and lively

For those who want to discover the city centre, you can stroll through the district of the Pointe de la Garde. Stroll between the old villas or through the village to sample the local produce on offer in the small delicatessens and restaurants. Saint-Cast-le-Guildo is home to a number of dynamic markets throughout the year :
- Monday mornings (summer): Mielles market, Place du marché des Mielles
- Tuesday mornings: Le Guildo market, Rue Léonie Corre
- Thursday evenings (summer): the night market, Rue Jacques Catier and Boulevard Duponchel
- Friday mornings: Isle market, Place Anatole le Braz
If you would like to find out more about period villas and the history of the resort, don't miss a visit to Villa Ker Leo, built in 1920 by the Levy family as a town house with an aristocratic design by architect Boleslas Jankowski. For architecture enthusiasts, you can take part in guided tours offered by the Tourist Office.
Port d'Armor: a must-see on the Emerald Coast

You can reach the port directly from the town centre in just a few minutes on foot. This deep-water port, Inaugurated in 2009 and certified as a «clean port», the harbour is bordered by a pedestrian seawall where you can discover the old fishermen's houses while enjoying the view of the sea. During your stay, you may be lucky enough to attend one of the sailing competitions such as the Grand Prix de Saint-Cast and the European J80.
But especially during the summer period, you can make several boat crossings to nearby towns such as Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer and the nearby Ebihens archipelago, or the walled city of Saint-Malo.
