Are you coming on holiday to Saint-Cast-le-Guildo with your toddlers? We've selected the latest activities for children aged 5 to 12 in the area around the campsite.
Treasure hunts
It's been new in Saint-Cast since July 2022 and we know that children (aged 2 to 99) love it! Who can say no to a a new family adventure during the holidays? Treasure hunts are an original and fun way to discover the heritage of Saint-Cast, Quiou and Corseul. Are you ready to take up the challenge and solve the riddles? With a bit of curiosity and a bit of skill, you'll be able to find the codes to open the padlocks on the safe.
The Dinan-Cap Fréhel Tourist Office has created 3 kits to help you get away from it all. in search of forgotten treasures. Everything is provided: a map, game cards and accessories in a small rucksack so you can play detective.
3 missions
• In search of Alfred's treasure - Saint-Cast-le-Guildo: it will take you between 2 and 3 hours to explore Saint-Cast thanks to the letter left by Alfred to finally unearth the treasure chest.
• The treasure of the Faluns - Le Quiou: allow 2? to 3 hours of brainstorming to help Eugénie, a 10-year-old seed of an archaeologist, get her hands on her great-grandfather's forgotten treasure.
• Attacking the hidden key - Corseul: this time it's a key you'll have to find with the help of a map. Scour the streets of the town to find the key that will open the old locked chest in Sybille's house.
Where to find the kit ?
The bag containing the 3 treasure hunts is on sale for €22 (for 5 people) at the Tourist Offices of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, Fréhel, Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer and Dinan, in Brittany.
Discover or rediscover the life of farmers in 1924
We're continuing the adventure with one of the events organised by the’Farm of Yesteryear Ecomuseum in Plédéliac. During the holidays, the farm organises a family treasure hunt once a week. It's a great opportunity to visit this timeless place, the forge, the bread oven, the educational garden and the farm animals. “Mais eyou q'ét-ti que le père Gaston a caché son trésor?” Gaston has left a handwritten letter about a treasure... Discover the world of a three-generation family, at the heart of the farm, in an authentic atmosphere. Here, children can play with their parents. in the shoes of an early 20th-century farmer and take part in the activities to grind grain, become a schoolboy of yesteryear or go mushroom hunting!
